Kellie Martin, an American actress and filmmaker popularly known for her roles for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the drama about families Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Her other notable roles include appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin was the daughter of a department shop buyer and an elementary school teacher. She began acting as a child at the age of seven. her aunt, the nanny of Michael Landon's family, helped Martin find a role as an actor on the television show Father Murphy. When she graduated of Yale University she began to become serious about acting with roles that she was able to land on the small screen and big. Apart from being an actor, Martin is a skilled photographer and ballet dancer. Mother of two daughters and a son, she is also the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the illness every day since the death of her sister, who was age 19.
