Elizabeth Jane Hurley has been an actress and model in England since the late 1980s. In the year 1990 there was speculation that she might be Hugh Grant's lover. Hurley was a frequent guest of Grant, who was at that time being the focus of media interest worldwide because of the success at the box office from Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. I Kissed a Girl became an international number-one single because of its mix of sexual enticement and a refined melody. The song also assisted her to sell more albums, including One of the Boys. Its bouncy, sharp-tongued and bouncy song, the second Hot N Cold also proving popular the album much of which Perry composed herself, eventually saw greater than three million copies in the United States.
